At the age of 193 Avatar Aang passed quietly away in his sleep, During his reign he accomplished many great deeds, overthrew the firenation placing a better Lord than any could ever ask for in charge, he restored glory to the southern water tribe and earned woman in the north the right to bend, he touched many peoples lives and will be missed many years into the future, remains of his glory dot the country side in numerous temples and honors erected for him. His children are now the air nomads, joined with air benders who hid themselves for nearly a century, their numbers are barely over fifty but the growing group gives the world hope for the nation of air.
The next avatar is said to be water but as of yet no children in the north or south fit, not one child born of water is a match to become the next avatar, nineteen years later it's still a waiting game to see just who is meant to be the the next bridge between this world and the spirit world. The spirits on the other hand aren't so patient, angered by the balance having been lost began to attack villages and possess humans. There is no one to stop them or speak on their behalf so the world is running rampant. One young sage on behalf of the earth kingdom set out in attempts to locate the missing avatar with a necklace from the spirit world, one that glows at the presence of connections to the spirit world, on his way to the oceans he ran into the foggy swamp... well I'll let you see the rest....
